Jones’ responsibilities include the day-to-day management of land acquisition and development, product development and homebuilding operations in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Under his leadership, the Inland Empire division will continue to pursue a variety of development opportunities, including traditional single family detached homes as well as medium density attached product. “Tim has been influential in the growth of our Inland Empire division and established himself as a respected leader within our company and the industry,” said John Laing Homes CEO Larry Webb. “I am confident that his skills in leading and growing people and teams will drive new opportunities for growth in the region, and support John Laing Homes’ commitment to delivering the best new home experience.” Jones has been a part of the Inland Empire division team since 2002, where he previously served as Vice President of Land Development. In that time, he and his staff spearheaded the due diligence process for all new land deals, and oversaw the entitlement and development of more than 2,300 homes. Over the course of his career, Jones has been involved in the development of nearly 7,000 homes, including golf course, master planned, mixed-use, and multi-family communities. Prior to joining John Laing Homes, Jones spent two years with Lewis Operating Corp. where he managed the development of several master planned communities. He has also worked in land development for KB Home, and before that spent 10 years with Lewis Homes. Earlier in his career, Jones owned his own consulting business for six years.
